4 WEEK MINI COURSE SERIES

Getting into your body [embodiment] is an essential tool for trauma or grief work for clients and for coaches. Getting grounded in the body that carries you through life’s celebrations and challenges is essential for our well-being and helps us deal with big feelings. The very natural and primal act of regularly moving releases tension and stress hormones from your nervous system and is extremely helpful with grief and loss. Perfect for Yoga Instructors and any Movement Wellness Pros!

Pulling form various experts work; trauma experts Peter Levine, PhD, Author of Waking the Tiger and Bessel van der Kolk, PhD, Author of The Body Keeps the Score, and Paul Denniston’s Grief Yoga this mini course teaches by doing gentle mopvement techniques specific for Supporters and Grievers accessing the power of our Soma as we wed the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual to support connection, wellness, and healing.

With:

Gentle & Organic Movement: gentle moving exercises and practices like Tai Chi or Grief Movement by Paul Denniston - gentle on the nervous system and easy to follow for any level of physical abilities including the sedentary, people with disabilities, or grievers dealing with minimal time or energy.

Somatic Flow Walking: these slow, focused, meditative walks in nature are incredibly therapeutic. In particular an added healing bonus is how we view our environment differently out on a walk. We are not locked down visually [like we tend to be when seated or stuck in rigid positions all day at work] as we take in the beauty of the earth – plants, gardens, landscapes, sky, trees, birds, animals, passing dogs and strangers where you can have the slightest interaction just to stay human

Dancing: you may not feel like dancing but putting on a favorite song and even moving around just a little bit is very connecting. Make this soothing or dynamic to release stress.

Playful Movement / Theater: Another finding of Bessel van der Kolk’s studies, acting out feelings allows us to find support in various aspects of our personalities. Imagination is a powerful healing tool.

Live version $129 includes Q&A session time with Pamela Ann Noxon and personalization / specific case coaching opportunities.

On Demand $49 is pre recorded to watch at your convenience.
