Meet the people behind Mourning Goods

Pamela Ann Noxon, Founder

Author, Artist, Healer, Visionary, Speaker, Teacher, and Founder of Mourning Goods, Pamela says “Helping others in grief is a true honor and brings so much purpose and light to my life. People ask me all the time if helping grievers is hard or depressing, but grief work reminds you that life is short and precious, and that each moment should be lived authentically. It reminds me to take my joy very seriously.”

Pamela is overjoyed to be breaking new ground where her heart lies; in helping others. When not teaching, writing, or speaking, she can be found walking the woods in beautiful North County San Diego horse country, immersed in nature, talking to the trees and animals, and playing with her two cats.

Denise Hobbs, Teaching Assistant, Student Mentor

Certified Holistic Grief Coach [with honors], Sound Healer, Mother, Grandmother, and badass, Denise helps our students with her no no-nonsense style [that’s why she’s in charge of Coaching Ethics!] and huge heart.

Denise’s work is rooted in a desire to help others grow in self-awareness and reconnect with their inner wisdom, nurturing spiritual awakening, mental clarity, and emotional balance, to help students open up to greater peace, fulfillment, and purpose.

Sandra Patricia Bartsch, Outreach & Enrollment

A powerhouse of vision, passion, and integrity, Sandra leads our student enrollment division, media and press relations, and retreats. Sandra is often the first person our future students meet from our team.

Among her many talents, Sandra is a talented horsewoman, enjoying the beautiful trails of Southern California and competing in 50 mile endurance races.

When she is not on a horse, Sandra is helping potential students align with the right course in The Mourning Goods School of Holistic Grief Coaching for their journey in helping others.

She also heads our professional outreach and those gorgeous retreats, hello Mexico!
