What Pamela’s students are saying:
“I knew nothing about seeing Clients or grief work going into Pamela’s Holistic Grief Coach Certification Course. But I felt both seen and supported both in class and by her mentoring and got so much more out if than just an education on loss and grief. The power and practice of sharing her conscious tools in our group was deeply healing for me. And I’m so grateful Pamela helped me find the direction for holistic grief support work that is the perfect fit for me. Thanks to her encouragement and guidance I am on my way with the perfect business plan!” ~ AVC, Student

Why Grief Work — and Why Now?
We are experiencing a national (and global) grief crisis.
Over 70 million boomers are losing loved ones.
More than 57% of Americans have experienced a major loss in the last 3 years.
Up to 80% of adults are grieving a loved one — yet few have conscious, compassionate support.
The standard protocol for grief support - the 5 Stage model - is failing people, and was never intended for grief over loss of another.
Psychologists and mental health professionals have little to no grief training in their education.
People are learning the hard way that grief affects your whole being your whole life, and they need someone who can meet them where they are.
Modern culture [and world] is experiencing a compassion crisis with so many people overwhelmed with trauma and loss that there’s nowhere to turn.
People are not looking for outdated, linear, “stages of grief” models.
They are craving human, holistic, heart-oriented guidance that meets them where they truly are.
There has never been a greater need for trained, ethical Holistic Grief Coaches.
Why You?
You don’t need prior experience. You need a calling — and a willingness to learn.
This course is ideal for:
Individuals who have experienced loss and want to transform it into purpose
People seeking a meaningful new career or life direction
Life coaches, wellness practitioners, doulas, and healers expanding their practice
Anyone who feels deeply called to help others through one of life’s hardest moments
Those ready to learn a complete, proven, holistic grief coaching protocol
People wanting personal healing alongside professional training
If you feel pulled toward grief work — even if you don’t yet know why — this work will meet you exactly where you are.

FAQ’s
-
A: Absolutely! You will complete the Course with all the knowledge, tools, and trauma-informed skills you need to support clients 1:1 or in workshops or groups through their grief journeys AND build a purposeful, heart-centered coaching practice. One graduate of the course became certified on a Wednesday and booked her first client Thursday, on the very next day!
-
A: Not at all. Pamela teaches you everything from soup to nuts in how to show up for clients with professional grief coaching, listening skills, verbiage, and even shares examples of professional documents and communication…the works. Just bring your heart and willingness to help others. This unique course is designed for both aspiring coaches and experienced practitioners who wish to expand their knowledge in heart-based holistic grief coaching.
-
A: Adding Pamela’s soul based grief coaching protocol to your practice is a perfect fit. Most coaching and mental wellness practices do not use grief specific tools and language. Life coaching is very ‘goal oriented’, many healing modalities are silent, and most mental health professionals and therapists do not learn any grief work in their education, as grief is not a mental illness or pathology.
-
A: One of the main reasons Pamela interviews each candidate is to assess their level of readiness. Rushing into helping others is not healthy for anyone - you or a client. But this course was also created specifically to be a place to evolve your own pain into purpose and turn to help others navigate all that loss brings, often from personal experience. The course is very trauma-informed, which includes being aware of and managing the activating aspects of grief work, all in a safe space. Helping others in grief in a healthy, holistic way requires addressing and tending to your own suffering in a safe and supportive environment. Pamela encourages a great deal of self-reflection and the course offers many built in resources for self-care. And part of helping others is maintaining balance and boundaries. While personal triggers will arise, Pamela’s training will help you develop the skills to manage them and maintain a safe, regulated presence for you, the other students, and your clients. It is always recommended to have personal support alongside this any course that deals with grief, trauma, and loss. If Pamela determines you are in a less than high-functioning state, she will recommend you get more personal help before joining her course.

A: Most of our students are working professionals looking to add to their existing work or change careers entirely. Pamela has created a system to deliver everything you need without overwhelming your life. Importantly, the growth and evolution that comes with all of this course’s introspective and powerful content needs time and should not be rushed. Healing deserves to be met with patience and love. Approximately 5 hours per week is needed for each week’s content of: 1 master class, 1 interactive practicum class, and (depending on how deep of a dive you decide to take) the homework. Workshops are 3 hours long and occur once a month, usually on a weekend. To be sure this course is a deep dive into holistic grief support; we cover how the mind, body, emotions, spirit, nervous system, and soul grieve and how they can support a client…we dive into how to spot and help with trauma, we learn and use deep listening skills, creative tools, nature, guided meditations, movement, and a lot more. But the course itself is structured to become a healthy practice of showing up - authentically - for you. To help you develop the ‘muscle’ and the habits that will support you in your grief practice whatever it may be. To care for others you must start with yourself because what we do not transmute we transmit. We make sure that your whole self care is part of this work from day one.
-
A: No. Pamela’s content is holistic and spiritual but is not of a religious nature. Her syncretic approach often touches on many cultures, belief systems, and ways of dealing with death, loss, and grief. After all, we as a species have been trying to navigate loss and grief for millions of years. We like to say that the afterlife and the big questions like “what happens when we die?” are the domain religion, while grief is the domain of humans. We all grieve regardless of our belief system. Each person’s unique relationship with the spiritual is a vital aspect of holistic grief support, and Pamela’s work honors each griever as an individual with their own spiritual system, spiritual needs, and ways to navigate loss, so her work dovetails well into any open-minded spiritual system. More fundamentalist approaches are not a good fit for this work as they tend to have a “single answer” approach to loss that may bypass a healthy, holistic grieving approach.
