FAQ
How are these Workshops different than traditional Grief Support Groups?
Each Workshop is a compassionate, private group space to receive ideas, transformative tools, and inspiration from a trauma-informed Holistic Grief Educator that can help you navigate one of the toughest times of the year. Workshops are not like traditional Grief Support Groups where members share issues and stories of loss with each other. We always honor your Loved One and help you as you navigate your grief, but if you are called upon to share, these Workshops are not the space for eulogies or emotional downloads.
Is this a Grief Coaching Session?
Each Workshop is a compassionate, private group space to receive ideas, tools, and information to help you navigate one of the toughest times of the year. These tips also translate to other 'charged' days like birthdays and death days of your Loved One, and other key anniversaries. Workshops are never a private Grief Coaching session.
Is there a religious component to Workshops?
Holistic Grief Educator Pamela Ann Noxon uses an open-minded, holistic protocol that dovetails and respects all belief systems. Grief affects all aspects of your life so it's a Mind, Body, Emotions, Spirit = You program. So no religion, just love.
Is this for people who have recently lost a Loved One?
Workshops are for anyone who has lost a Loved One - recently or even decades ago. If you know you need help with your grief, them you know. Some aspects of grief are timeless [like the navigating anniversaries, holidays, and family] and bring up so much grief that the tips in this workshop can help you address. If you have any questions please message Pamela.
What will be expected of me?
Varies by Workshop. You may engage as much or as little as you wish to participate in the Workshops. Some Workshops have a time for open Questions [and some do not] and sometimes homework is offered but, your experience is up to you. Workshops are not the space for eulogies or downloads.
Why are Workshops not broken out into type of loss?
Pamela offers complete course based on the type loss you’ve experienced, but the Workshops are more about how anyone can navigate the common, universal experiences of grief that you face in our culture, and the necessary healing that surrounds and supports healthy grieving - regardless of the loss. The only Workshops that are separated by loss are the Pet Loss Workshops.
