Mourning Goods Code of Ethics: Humanity First

Mourning Goods’ and Pamela Ann Noxon’s work and courses are dedicated to helping people help other people from a place of love, empathy, compassion, and humanity, without prejudice or influence from rigid religious or political ideology. At the heart of all of Pamela’s work is a deep commitment to honoring every person with respect, equality, and inclusion. She upholds the rights and dignity of all people—across colors, cultures, and belief systems—stands in support of Indigenous peoples, and is a strong ally to the LGBTQIA2S+ community. A deep and profound connection with nature and respect for all animals is at the core of all of Pamela’s work. We respect real scientific research as a method of understanding the world through testing hypotheses, gathering data, constant learning and improvement, and self-correction. We also respect the validity of each person’s intuition as a means of decision making, self care, personal growth, and showing up for others in the healing arts. And though Pamela’s work is not therapy, it is deeply therapeutic, and though not religious, it is spiritual in nature.
