Getting the support you need in Grief Groups

Being seen being heard in your grief, is imperative and grief groups on Zoom now offer the community one needs to feel supported, understood, and very importantly, not alone.

These are a few of my favorite support groups by some of the top grief experts in the world. Everyone is welcome, and most sessions are divided into types of loss so that you feel validated and comfortable sharing your story with others going through similar types of loss.

David Kessler Tender Hearts

Dr. David Kessler is widely considered the top Grief expert in the world. Having worked with, and co-authored books with, Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross who first defined grief in the 70’s, David’s warmth, heart, relatability, and decades of hospital and hospice work, psychology practices, and personal experiences, brought him to create an inclusive and welcoming new type of support group that really changed the way people come together for support.

Tender Hearts is a place where you can come to be supported in your grief. You can visit when you need to and leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful. Tender Hearts allows people with all kinds of loss to take weekly steps to find peace and healing and create a life that honors their loved one with:

  • Instant 24/7 access to private website and community

  • Weekly live Heart to Heart sessions where you can work with David Kessler in a group format

  • New topics each week and deep dives into the aspects of grief that people seldom talk about

  • ZOOM Check-Ins. Check-in via ZOOM with David and the team

  • Step-by-step weekly lessons and worksheets

  • Weekly Q & A

  • Community - to connect with others and get support when you need it (and away from social media).

  • Specialized communities for unique circumstances such as loss of a child, spouse as well as death by suicide.
