Grief Yoga and grief Movement

Paul Denniston is the founder of Grief Yoga®, which uses yoga, movement, breath, and sound to release pain and suffering and connect to love.

Paul is certified in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini Yoga, Laughter Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Let Your Yoga Dance. He also has taught movement at the Stella Adler Academy in Hollywood.

His intention with Grief Yoga is to combine many different forms of yoga in order to help heal grief. He has several online courses dealing with all kinds of loss and teaches this practice to counselors, psychologists, and health care professionals on his training platform: Grief Movement Training. Paul certifies other yoga teachers in the Grief Yoga Teacher Training. He also teaches at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts, at Esalen, and at 1440 Multiversity.

Paul volunteered for years at one of the largest Los Angeles hospices, where he offered Heart Touch massage to the dying. He teaches Grief Yoga to bereavement groups; cancer support centers; groups whose loved ones died by suicide; Alzheimer’s groups; healing after a breakup, divorce, or betrayal; and addiction groups.

Paul has trained thousands of therapists, counselors, and health care professionals in the United States, England, Ireland, Germany, and Australia.

Paul Denniston is a breath of fresh air in the world of grief support. The founder of Grief Yoga and Grief Movement, Paul brings spontaneity and groundedness, and even joyfulness to his work which has resulted in a vibrant community of people finding support and love.

A Community of the Heart, Spark is a private, safe space that invites you to explore mind, body, and spirit techniques to guide you toward compassionate transformation. This warm-hearted community explores guided movement rituals to release the pain and tap into your resilience to explore more play and meaning. 

This is a community to heal, feel, grow, and transform. Even after the most devastating losses, it’s possible to find balance, and hope, and keep moving forward.

Author, trauma-informed Holistic Grief Educator, Grief Coaching Mentor & Trainer, Inspirational Speaker & Workshop leader, Pamela Ann Noxon offers compassionate and creative ways to help those in loss heal with their grief and stay connected to their loved ones.

After decades of study in trauma, grief, holistic health and wellness, and numerous losses that included her mother, father, close family, dear friends, close colleagues, and beloved pets, she has created a unique protocol, combining the latest grief coaching techniques, with hypnotherapy, art therapy, breathing work, movement therapies, and a deep connection to nature and animals; to create a profound and revolutionary, truly holistic method of helping people navigate their grief well.
